Hi, my name's Nick. Before I even start, I want you to know that this is not an ad for a business. I truly believe that people that travel the world have experiences you could never dream of at home, and really grow as people. I want to be able to help others experience the world in a unique way.
I'm here, everyday, talking to people and answering their questions. Whether you want to just chat about travel, SCUBA, hiking, kayaking, rafting, etc...or if you'd like to hear about Dominica I love to talk with you. Feel free to send me a message whenever you'd like.
For work...I'm the Assistant Director at "Adventure Is Freedom." Our business focuses on outdoor experiences and ecotourism. We believe the best experiences are those when you learn about the world, others, as well as yourself.
I'll tell you a little bit about the company....as it really describes what I want out of my life.
Our mission is to explore nature's treasures. Whether you want to: scuba dive in the Caribbean Sea among the colorful reefs, playful sea turtles, dolphins and whales; or hike tropical rainforests filled with darting hummingbirds, singing parrots, rare flowers and lush greenery ; or cycle striking mountain ranges and their silent forests with fresh water streams - I guarantee that being there will enrich your life. All you need is a desire to experience the magic of nature, and we will handle the rest.
We also PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) SCUBA and Emergency First Responder certify.
Dominica is an English speaking Caribbean island. The food is Creole style, and amazing. The island has a laid back atmosphere, that I feel anyone will enjoy
If you love nature, and like to have a good time, be sure and check out "Adventure is Freedom," at http://www.AdventureIsFreedom.com for more information.
Alright, now that you know about "Adventure is Freedom," I'll tell you a little more about myself.
I recently completed my coursework for my Bachelors degree in Resource, Recreation, and Tourism with a minor in Outdoor Recreation Leadership at the the university of Idaho.
I love water. Anything to do with water I love. I've rafted the salmon and snakes rivers, through class 4-5 rapids. I've based jumped one bridge. I've gone cliff diving. I kayaked the salmon river once. I'm a pretty good archer as well as angler (fisherman).
I love to sail. I hope to buy a small sailboat sometime soon, but we'll see how that goes.
I'm an outgoing guy, that just loves life. I've had many amazing experiences, and intend to have many more. I believe the more of life I see, the better person I'll be. If you'd like more about me, check out my other profile below. (The picture of the guy in a Kayak)
