Let it be.

About Me

I’m Helena. Most people find that a bit difficult and choose to call me “hep” or “hp” or “h”. Doesn’t bother me. I’m tall, pale, and half-Norwegian. I was born in Indianapolis.. raised on the coast of NC.
I’m a grown ass soul. I’m a realist and can be brutally sarcastic, but I'm always jolly. I'm not easily bothered. I get bored easily. I have a LOT of quirks. Most of them take a while to come out. I love people, but humanity disappoints me. I don’t crush easily, but I don't mind. I can’t get enough social contact and love the company of others, but I am stubborn and independent and refuse to rely on other people. I tend to be nomadic and usually live out of my car. I have moved six times in less than two years.
I used to be one of the top 100 amateur pianists in the United States. I stopped playing when I came to college.
I worked late-nights on S. Glenwood when I was 18.
I am ridiculously easygoing and non-confrontational to a fault.
I have a hard time producing body heat.
I need to travel, but I rarely do it.
Salt is my favorite food. I hate sweet tea and country music.
That probably won’t give you an accurate idea of me at all. I’m a mess of mixed clichés and I enjoy breaking every one of them. I like surprising people.
trait snapshot:
messy, disorganized, social, tough, outgoing, rarely worries, self revealing, open, risk taker, likes the unknown, likes large parties, likes to stand out, likes to make fun of people, reckless, resilient, self reliant, leisurely, dangerous, optimistic, positive, strong, does not like to be alone, ambivalent about chaos, impractical, thrill seeker, not good at saving money, fearless, trusting, not rule conscious, enjoys leadership, strange, abstract, rarely irritated, anti-authority, attracted to the counter culture, loves food, makes friends easily, likes bizarre things, sarcastic
...I'd say that's about right
Starting May 15th, I am doing some serious traveling and photogging with American Aquarium. Seriously, you should come visit me when we are in your state. I'd love to see you!
