It’s not often that a hip-hop artist as entertaining as White Mike comes along. The 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards “Male Rap Vocalist of the Year” has an uncanny ability to mix humor, hardship, and story-telling in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what he is going to say next. “I just observe everything that’s going around me and soak it up like a sponge,” Mike explains. “When I make music I’m just releasing everything I’ve gathered in a way to keep the audience interested.” On his new, 15-track LP entitled What’s the World Coming To? White Mike covers an assortment of topics relating to people’s everyday lives, all the while displaying an original talent for lyricism and punch lines that hip-hop has sorely been lacking in recent years.

What’s the World Coming To? Is definitely an album from the underdog’s point of view. On “Lola” White Mike describes his 1987 Toyota Corolla, a junkie car that seems to have gotten him a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. After a hilarious description of Lola’s appearance, Mike goes on to rap, “...You can hate on me point, laugh and make a scene/ I been workin’ hard Lola ain’t the greatest thing/ But I got bills to pay gotta stay up on my feet/ I ain’t mad long as she’s takin’ me from A to B...” White Mike’s pride is also put to the test on “Out In the Cold,” a tough- luck tale describing the transition to adulthood and responsibility. Again he makes the best of his situation and gives some much needed perspective, reminding us of what is really important in the midst of all of life’s struggles.

White Mike definitely seems most comfortable using his sense of humor to entertain his listeners. Songs like “Rent-A-Thug” and “Officer Sheisty” are both descriptive narratives relating to characters trying to find themselves in the suburbs; Rent-A-Thug being the wannabe gangsta from a wealthy, affluent background and Officer Sheisty the disgruntled police officer with a chip on his shoulder and nothing better to do than harass the local kids in the neighborhood. “A.Y.T ” pokes fun at the stereotypes Mike faces being a white rapper and “Bad Trip” is a gut-busting story about a weed-smoking experience gone wrong that almost everyone has either witnessed or had the misfortune of enduring themselves.

What’s the World Coming To? Is an upbeat album sure to entertain anyone that listens to it. Guest appearances from San Quinn (“I’m From Tha Bay”) and Planet Asia (“Legends on the Rise”) add some underground star power while Sadaam Hussein (“Stoopid Is”), Bin Laden and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il (“World Domination”) show up out of nowhere to spit a verse and give you a piece of their minds. Most of the production, which will keep your head nodding throughout the entire project, was done by White Mike himself along with collaborator Tony Tools. What’s the World Coming To? White Mike won "Independent Male Rap Vocalist of the Year" at the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards. There were thousands of entries but W.M. still won the award with a unanimous decision.

CMJ NO. 4 MOST ADDED

White Mike's new album "Famous" was number 4 overall in hip-hop on CMJ's Most Added list. CMJ is like the college radio version of Billboard, a charting system that displays the top acts being played on the radio. The term "added" refers to stations adding White Mike to their playlist. We will have a list of the stations soon, so fans can call and request White Mike to be played all over America and Canada!

"FAMOUS" IS FINALLY FINISHED!

The album was just mastered in Los Angeles and it is already receiving great reviews! Eddy Schreyer of Oasis Mastering, who also mastered 2Pac "All Eyez on Me" and Kanye West "College Dropout," has specialized in audio mastering for over 30 years. While listening to White Mike "Famous" Eddy seems almost baffled as he proclaims "I've never heard anything better than this!"

After being beaten senseless by the Brentwood Police Department for no reason, White Mike had insult added to injury. The The Contra Costa County District Attorney charged Mike, the victim, with two counts of assault on a police officer and two counts of resisting arrest. After refusing numerous plea bargains Mike faced a trial by jury. After hearing the evidence and testimony the jury of 12 unanimously found White Mike not guilty! Some police officers just need to get a life...

WHITE MIKE IS ON MTV!

MTV was present at the 2005 Rap Olympics and filmed the event in its entirety. White Mike was definitely the focus of most of the footage as he destroyed every rapper in his way. Unfortunately, only a short clip of Mike was aired on MTV that didn't even show him saying anything. Oh well, everyone that was there knows what happened!

WHITE MIKE GETS OFFENSIVE AT THE 2005 RAP OLYMPICS

Onlookers were shocked to see White Mike dismantle everyone in his path at the 2005 Rap Olympics. He was eliminated in a controversial battle that could've gone either way in the final segment of the competition, but earned respect from everyone that witnessed his outlandish behavior and crude punchlines.

For the last year White Mike has been in the studio recording his new album entitled "Famous." The majority of the production is being handled by Mike, himself, and co-producer extraordinaire Tony Tools. The album is due for release in Summer of 2006!

ANOTHER INTRO SONG THAT SAN DIEGO GETS TO HEAR EVERYDAY

Another intro song for Billy Blast has been recorded. Due to the success from the first intro song, White Mike was asked to record another one for the up-and-coming 98.9 FM. The song will be played daily at 2:00 P.M. when Billy Blast is on the air until well into 2005.

WHITE MIKE RECORDS BILLY BLAST INTRO SONG ON JAMMIN' Z90!

He has definitely come a long way...after living in San Diego for less than a year White Mike has already left a huge mark on San Diego's largest hip-hop station. After recently winning the station's first annual MC Battle, he went into the studio and recorded a minute-long rap song that will be played everyday at 6:00 P.M. when DJ Billy Blast is on the air. The song hypes up Billy and explains what an all-around pimp White Mike is. The song will be on the air daily for the next six months.

Hundreds of people packed into a crowded music festival to see White Mike perform tracks from his self-titled debut. Past acts at Street Scene include Snoop Dogg, The White Stripes, and many other multi-platinum selling national artists.

WHITE MIKE WINS FIRST JAMMIN' Z90 EMCEE BATTLE!

San Diego hip-hop station 90.3 FM held their inaugural MC Battle in Chula Vista. In front of a crowded shopping mall full of people White Mike destroyed his competition en route to becoming the first Z90 MC Battle Champion! He won a check for $1,000 and dedicated the win to his penis.
