Rhythmic train rides to New York with hopes and dreams in overhead compartments. Solemn bike treks from Chicago to Oregon in search of a home. The strong undertow of secrets told in dimly lit Amsterdam alleyways. The ups and downs of daily struggle in Philly, Boston, or anywhere. Pink Humpy has seemingly endless stories to tell, set in backdrops painted from rock red, soul blue, jazz white, funk yellow, indie black, and singer-songwriter orange. The result is a green that is unique and hard to copy. Speckles of Nick Drake, Jamiroquai, or Jack Johnson may spot the mix, but the picture is all their own. Sometimes its not just about the music, but where it takes you.
