Some history.

I started ekssperimenting with music in early 2001. The music was back then inspired by chipmusic and lo-fi electropop. About 2003 I changed my style and ekssplored the realms of minimal obscure synth music. I also changed the name to Kinder aus Asbest. EKSS was put to sleep.

Resurrekssion

In late summer, early autumn 2005, EKSS resurrected. The project had been asleep for some time and since then there is always a bunch of tracks in progress at the same time. The style in 2005 was electronic and dance oriented and slowly beginning to get more and more influensed by dub/reggae music. In 2006 I visited my first sound system session with Jah Massive Sound in Uppsala. I found my home there. I started to produce strictly reggae dub influensed tunes and have been doing that since then. Nowadays a sound system session is like a religious ekssperience. It's like a visit to my church. A church of music, dance, creativity, joy, positivity, love and unity.

Music is my passion, to let the creative flow thru me is very energizing. If you would like me to perform live or if you are interested in releasing my music on vinyl, please send me a message and we'll figure something out! I would love to share my ekssperimentations at a sound system session or on a vinyl plate!

Meditation filled with sunrises, sunsets, deep forests, cloudy skies, rain, thunder, babylonian visitors and sparks of electricity. Some tunes are made for stepping and dancing, others are for pure listening pleasure.
