I am here for Friends

About Me

Let's see...I am a small town lass with wordly interests. I have deep pride in both where I come from and who I come from. My heritage is Cherokee and German and I embody traits from both let me tell you. I definitely could use more patience but am loyal to the core. I can't stand indifference, dishonesty, manipulations or intentional cruelty. I love zany, off the wall ANYTHING from art to furniture to music to fashion to people. I can get along with almost anyone unless that person is a closed minded biggot, racist, sexist or the like. I am very independent but depend on my friends and family to help me weather life and I make no apologies for it. I hate when people say its a bad thing to depend on something or someone....isn't that the whole point...to surround yourself with dependable people who you can count on? I think self confidence and self awareness is so much more attractive than a huge rack or the perfect biceps. I love people who stand up for what they believe in at any cost and remain true to themselves. I HATE spiders. I love having my hair played with, tickles, Sunday brunch with free flowing Mimosas and friends, chips and A-1 sauce (yes together), baby frogs, the color red, a house full of candles and having giggling fits. I always seem to get the giggling fits at inappropriate times and it has been this way for as long as I can remember (getting the oh so scorned look from the parents in church when I was a wee tot...) I have yet to find a way to behave in a grocery store...I lack the attention span for it and usually never leave w/o having "twirled" into at least 1 display. If my man promises me a delicious sample of candy or gum at the end, I tend to do a smidge better. I am a salt fiend and adore pickles and find it a sin to throw away a jar with juice left in it...oh yes, I chug pickle juice and for those of you who are gagging right now, I might add it is one of the best cures for a hangover. I can be graceful but am usually falling or tripping every time I take a step. It has become such a part of my daily existence that I hardly even notice anymore. I have a theory that if you have a bruise and can't remember how you got it, you can press on it and the pain will trigger the original cause. I love wearing pajamas. I cry when I hear the Star Spangled Banner and forget about Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA...kills me. I have yet to make it through an episode of Extreme Home Makeover without sobbing. I will only eat cauliflower if I have an olive to go with each bite. I have a mouth that could make a sailor blush (must get that from my pops!) and I can't stand for the 2nd toe on either of my feet to be touched. I could go on and on but this is a good start......This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? using original artwork by Marah Johnson. Go get one!

Sordid Love....

Ok, been awhile since I posted a blog but this is the first time in some time that I found something worthy of writing about.  I was recently introduced to a movie that came out several years ago...
