About Me

“When I was a child, my mother said to me, 'If you become a soldier, you'll be a general. If you become a monk you'll end up as the pope.' Instead I became a painter and wound up as Picasso.” - Pablo Picasso
Even if someone's got a gun to your head, you have a choice whether to scream or not. Never settling but always satisfied.http://dddavidlam.blogspot.com

My Interests

LIKES:
French fries Summertime girls The internetDISLIKES:
When I'm having a conversation/debate/argument with someone and they start their statement with "Look..." or "Listen..." It's the highest form of disrespect in argument ethics IMO and you'll be lucky if I don't make you feel like an infant verbally if you use that with me.

Heroes:

"I look into their eyes, shake their hand, pat their back, wish them luck, but I am thinking, 'I am going to bury you,'" - Seve Ballesteros
"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named Bush, Dick and Colon. Need I say more?" - Chris Rock

Paralysis

I don't think I'll ever sleep again. I can't. I'm ready...ready to take on the maniacal geniuses that creep the night, scouring for the souls that are fast asleep as they are the easiest of targets. A...

Crawling and kicking and screaming

Today felt like it was the 60s, and I was a free spirit hippy partaking in a free love, bra burning commune. Partly it was the weather, which was beautiful and majestic. But in this period of winding ...

Les photos sont des cicatrices

I've taken on the day. It was at my will, my command, my expense, if you will. Now, this blog entry will serve as a plate where I can regurgitate all that I've experienced, all I've felt, all I've see...

Je brûle le jour

The night is here. I have arrived. I have arrived to take on the daylight. That is the way I feel, especially in these hours of the day (the "Lost Hours" as I like to call them). It's borderline nigh...

Eyes On My Back

Hello? It's 3 o'clock in the AM and it's me in my full size bed (I could be wrong. I never knew how bed sizing worked. Just be assured that it's a big f'n bed) with the door that leads to the back wid...

Profligate Person REFORMED

The persona that I once knew and was has been making a transition based upon these photos in my photo album. Where have I gone? What have I done? There are only but a few photos left that are remnant ...

Ti. Sn.

Inside the stereotypical Orange County world of hypocrisy and materialism, a young lady who will only be referred to as T.S., hones her verbal flails and aims it for those that are weak and clouded by...
