… ma c’è un vecchio proverbio (metto insieme vecchi proverbi mentre me ne vado in giro stracciato) secondo cui la conoscenza che non viene seguita dall’azione è peggio dell’ignoranza . perché se tiri ad indovinare e non ci prendi puoi sempre dire, merda, gli dei mi sono avversi. ma se sai e non fai, vuol dire che in testa hai soffitte e anticamere buie da percorrere avanti e indietro e a cui pensare. non è mica una cosa sana, produce serate noiose, un eccesso d’alcool e seghe.(Charles Bukowsky, Taccuino di un vecchio sporcaccione.)
