Waxx Netty one of the Original Greedy Boyz and former member of (Constant Resistance) a Gang Based Group out of Pittsburgh,Pa that fell appart through deaths and Prison cells. Waxx is one fourth of the group C.R.(Bonez Da Loc,Quizzy Loc R.I.P., & P.E.P. A.K.A. Pretty Evil Peepz) that’s still holdin’ it down for the love of his homies. " I don’t do this music for the money. " I do it for the streets , the love, and the memories of my dead homies." Waxx A.K.A Maleek Raheem Cobbs was born October 19, 197-. Being raised by a single mother (because of his incarcerated father) Waxx was raised in three different sections of the city of Pittsburgh. The Northside, Southsides’ Beltzhoover, and the Eastsides Homewood. Coming up in these different communities Waxx went threw and saw alot of things. Gangbangin, dope slangin, car stealin, armed robberies, drug usin’ you name it and he either seen or done it. "I’ve been in the streets since I was 11. I got a slew of dead homies and a gang of locs doin football numbers. This ain’t nothin to be glamorizin’. This is real out here. You go to New York them niggas think it’s sweet in the Burgh. Ain’t no lolliepop shit out here. Niggas do the same shit everywhere." Besides being affliated with the Crips of the early 90’s Waxx has been on the scene since 1991 makin hood tapes and doing talent shows around the city. " When I seen my cousin Budda, The M.E.L. MAN and Tuffy Tuff doin they thing I knew that this is what I wanted to do." So with that said Waxx headed on his journey for super stardom. Waxx is now in the studio cookin up his first solo effort ever. Workin with his home lable Greedy Recordz. Waxx is gearing up to unleashe " Heartfelt Mewzik " the album which will feature Benny Shine A.K.A. Ruff Bones, Tito Jenkins A.K.A. Tizz Da Loc, Mr. Greedy, J-Rocc, his little brother Young Cheez, Smoke Morettie, Joe Beast and many more. with " Heartfelt Mewzik I’m givin you the Waxx that you’re gonna get to know and love."
