I like to change my look alot, different hairstyles, different makeup. Here's how much look has changed since March of 2006:..I have my own hair salon, it's my pride and joy. It's called: Marilyn's House of Style
I'm hairstylist and makeup artist, living and working in Rockville, MD. I believe in living life to the fullest. I have a very fun-loving personality. I've been told I'm like an over-grown teenager. People ask if I'm having a mid-life crisis and I say "No, this is how I've always been!!"-haha If you know me, you know my laugh, it can be heard for miles. My serious side is once you're in my inner circle, I'll bend over backwards to help you out any way that I can, that's what being a good friend means to me. This year I have learned that I have the strength to be a leader, to take charge of my own destiny which is an amazing place to be. I guess you could call me high maintanence in every sense of that phrase, because I know I'm worth it. If you don't like it, sorry-then you can't be in that inner circle of people that I call friends. Even though I'm high maintenance, I'm extremely caring and giving, and protective of those I care about. I try to always tell it like is, even if it's maybe not the best time for it but what you see is what you get with me. I believe that life is too short to be unhappy, and I like to surround myself with positive people that lift me up and not bring me down.
