I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area for the first 25 years of my life and worked in some great restaurants and clubs out there and although it is a great city I apparently thought 120 degree weather would suit me better so I moved to Vegas to open Tabu at the MGM Grand with my business partner Genghis Cohen. I figured I would live here for about 6 months before moving on to the East Coast somewhere but lo and behold, Vegas started to grow on me and I have stayed since and will probably consider this home base at least for a while longer. After Tabu, I worked at ICE nightclub, Roadrunner and then opened the Rainbow Bar & Grill across from the Hard Rock before moving on in the summer of 2006 to open the Cathouse at the Luxor. I am now working on a larger nightlife project and launching a short term commodities trading fund.
