adopt your own virtual pet!Listening to Wu-Tang Clans 'Iron Flag' album got me deep into hip hop. At first, and for a while, it was all US. Eminem, Ludacris & Busta Rhymes when the only music I really heard was whatever was on the radio. Immortal Technique, People Under The Stairs & Nas when I started buying & borrowing my own kinda shit. Then, about 4 years into my hip hop fix, my cousins played me Skitzs' UK mixtape 'Countryman' and my outlook on what was considered 'sick shit' was suddenly switched from thumping slow flowing American mainstream to the raw, acoustic sounding underground scene. I haven't really looked back since, and for years now have often slapped on New Mic Order & Voice of the Great Outdoors or Run Come Save Me or Falling Down & Preminitions. I always have love for those who truely support UK artists, and for all those who prejudge or hate I suggest you give the afore mentioned LPs & EPs a listen.
