Jeeps and Off Roading. I'm a real nut about Jeeps. I've never been a real vehicle fan through my whole life but I always wanted a Jeep. I think it was always just for the broad spectrum diversity as a vehicle they offered. But I didn't get one until the kids were raised and out on their own. Then I bought my first, a 94 Wrangler, and I was immediately hooked....................Just getting off road and going where other less capable vehicles didn't dare tread was such a kick! When they say it's a low speed thrill ride, you'd better believe it. There's nothing like sliding down a wet clay hill, just trying to keep the nose pointed down so you don't roll, to get the blood pumping. Or crawling up that rock ledge in low 4 and feeling the awsome low end grunt the Jeep sends to the tires. You literally feel like you can go anywhere and do anything. (And that was Jeep's saying long before Toyota stole it last year!).......................... We are individual members of the California Association of 4-Wheel Drive Clubs and try to go to at least a couple of their events a year. Maybe we'll see you there!.......................................Other interests are bowling, golf, darts and camping! I like to bowl the occassional tournament but haven't placed in the money in quite some time. Used to shoot dart tournaments but have faded from that scene somewhat. I suck at golf but like to go out, drink beer and joke aroung with friends and occassionally hit a straight ball... Got a 32' Class A motorhome for the camping. Yes I'm a turtle...

My dad who is fighting bladder cancer. I've never known anyone to keep a more positive attitude than he has through this nasty ordeal. He truly sets a great example for dealing with adversity.
