hmmm... I already said filmmaking... how about movies in general? I like horror and horror/comedy movies, musicals, action and science fiction. Some of my all time favorites: Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Reanimator, Night of the Creeps, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Sean of the Dead, Bad Taste, Tromeo & Juliet, Terror Firmer, Dead Alive, From Dusk Till Dawn, Final Destination 2, Jason Goes to Hell, Phantasm, Return of the Living Dead, Sixth Sense, Terminator movies, Toxic Avenger, Wishmaster, Zombie. Wow! Okay, my sensitive side likes Fred Astaire musicals, Comedies including Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Top Secret, Hot Chick, Airplane, High School High, UHF.
Music: I play the piano, love old jazz standards including SINATRA! Woo Hoo! Italian crooners like Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin (yes, he's Italian).
Travel: I've been to 47 states, and want to hit all 50 eventually. I like hitting the small towns and out of the way places.
If you are looking for love and committment, come my way....
I'm a sucker for most kinds of music except rap. Is rap music? I don't think so... does it have a melody? Can you hum a rap tune? Can you play one on the piano? Therefore, I consider it talking to a beat (usually swearing to a beat).
My eclectic interests include: Elton John, Pink Floyd, techno, disco including of course the Bee Gees, Madonna, Frank, Sammy and Dean (rat pack), show tunes and soundtracks, and more.
I pretty much covered this above, but you name it and generally I have either seen it or will see it!
I also make movies, and have appeared in a few also. Check out "Desperation" coming to TV in May 2006. It was filmed in Tucson, and we were in several scenes.
I am the worlds biggest STAR TREK fan. I loved the original series with Kirk and crew, but over time grew to enjoy the adventures of Picard and company. Each subsequent series was a little less exciting and original, and they should have quit after the Next Generation was over.
I have been to dozens of Trek conventions and yes, usually in uniform. I have met many life-long friends, including a former lady friend from Rochester. I've met all of the major original seven crew, and many of the Next Generation cast.
I am one of the world's biggest STEPHEN KING fans. I've read practically all of his books up through the mid '90s. I recently finished "The Cell," which any George Romero or zombie fan will certainly appreciate. His books aren't quite up to the level they used to be, unfortunately.
I like reading books of future prophesy, and the "Left Behind" series was enjoyable and intense. Read "DaVinci Code" and enjoyed it.
Can't think of any heroes in the traditional sense. Superman? Spiderman? LOL!
