About Me

there are a few core things i believe:

to each his own. live a life of respect for ALL others. pushing your beliefs about anything on anyone else is disrespectful.

stop trying to figure yourself out. the "self" is a journey, not a destination or something to be found. you will change. and it will be beautiful if you let it happen.

do what makes you happy. life is too short to do anything you don't want to. remember the cherry blossom, and the ephemeral beauty of life.

having found these things on my own, i love my life. i love who i am, and i am excited to see who i will continuously change into. no matter what happens, life is beautiful.

making mistakes, learning about myself, and sleeping.

Music:

i listen to a lot of it. all you need to know is, i have better musical taste than you.

Movies:

i like movies that have a point, that make you realize something about yourself or the world around you. or the exact opposite: comedy. either that or weird foreign films. i apparently really like movies about vampires or badass assassins, too.

Television:

[adult swim], south park, miami ink, weeds, prison break

Books:

anything that challenges me to think about myself or shows me a new way to look at everything around me. so, mostly philosophy.

sometimes i am very let down by myself. i have all these ideas in my head of who i want to be, and when i look around me i see that i'm doing nothing to make it happen. i'm waiting to grow up instead ...
