Veranstaltungen I Booking I Promotion I Label scroll down for english version! lokale Veranstaltungen Queerbeat wurde 1997 gegründet. Ursprüngliches Tätigkeitsfeld war die Organisation von Konzerten in München und ein eigener Clubabend (die "Alternative Spirits" im Atomic Cafe).
Im Lauf der Zeit fanden wir Spaß daran, neue Räume zu bespielen. So organisierten wir Konzerte im Marstalltheater (Die Moulinettes), im Volkstheater (Tocotronic), im Planetarium (Console), in der alten Messekongresshalle (Console) und das Zweiraumkonzert "Transistor Notwist" mit Console und Notwist im Pathos Transport Theater, sowie die erste Partynacht im Münchner Rathaus.
Seit 1999 gibt es außerdem die von uns organisierte schwul-lesbische Alternative-Party "Candy Club" .
Tourneen, Eventmanagement & Promo Über die Konzerte haben wir viele Bands kennengelernt und schliesslich begonnen, auch Tourneen für Bands zu buchen (Pelzig, Lali Puna, Ted Milton, Pop Tarts und Die Moulinettes gehörten zu den ersten von uns gebuchten Künstlern).
Später kamen größere lokale Events hinzu: das Puch Open Air (seit 1999), das Pfingstfestival im Theatron in München (seit 2000), das Kulturprogramm des CSD in München (seit 2000) und das Bavarian Open Festival, die Bavarian Open Sessions im Bayerischen Rundfunk (seit 2003).
Außerdem arbeiten wir als Verlag (Edition Queerbeat), Management (Nova International) und vereinzelt mit Promotion Events.
BookingQueerbeat ist auch als Booking Agentur für Bands aus der ganzen Welt tätig.

local eventsQueerbeat started in 1997 organizing concerts in Munich and running a regular club night ("alternative spirits" at the Atomic Cafe).
By the time we began to enjoy discovering new rooms. Therefore we organized concerts at several theatres (Marstalltheater, Volkstheater), the planetarium (with Console) and the first party night at the Munich City Hall. Also we set up the two-room-show of Notwist and Console who played simultanuosly, supported by a live boradcasting, at the Pathos Transport Theatre in Munich ("Transistor Notwist").
Since 1999 we run a regular gay and lesbian alternative party (Candy Club).
touring, event management & promoWith the concerts we got in contact with a lot of bands and finally started to book tours for them (Pelzig, Lali Puna, Ted Milton, Pop Tarts and Moulinettes were the first artists represented by Queerbeat).
Later we added bigger local events to our activities: Puch Open Air (since 1999), Theatron - Pfingstfestival (since 2000), the official cultural activities around the Munich Gay Pride (since 2000) and the Bavarian Open (indoor festival) in cooperation with Bayerischer Rundfunk /Bavarian Broadcast (since 2003).
We work as publishers (Edition Queerbeat), Management (Nova International) and sometimes with promotional activities.
