The most important things to me are success and having fun. Although sometimes my fear of failure can be so great I subconsciously sabotage my opportunities .
I resent myself for taking people for granted. My family are so important but I am usually so busy with being busy that appreciation takes a back seat.
My friends have all taken different paths, so seeing them is rare, but treasured.
My naivety doesnt let me see when someone is flirting when I think they are just being nice.

I can't relate to those who feel inadequate without a boyfreind/girlfriend. If you cant be happy by yourself, then dont think you can be happy in a relationship. You obviously aren't ready.
The Gold Coast (especially Varsity Swamps) is purely artificial - developers playground. It is absolutely disgusting how they have ruined such a beautiful place as the Gold Coast.
I have learnt to never help those who are self-destructive. It is absolutely useless.

MEMORY 7
The bus was so full you could barely move. My friends n I had seats; I was on the end of a seat that ran along the bus wall at the front (i was facing the back).. Anyway, the bus was going over a wide speed bump. The front went up. Scraaaaape. The back went down. SCRAAAAAAPE. Thinking it was hilarious the amount of people almost caused the bus to get stuck on a speed bump, I said a lil too loudly on the silent bus "too much weight!!" ..and EVERYONE looked at me with horror. 'What??' I said to my freinds.. my cousin tapped me on the shoulder 'Val I think you should turn around.' So I did. And right at the front of the bus was the biggest man i have EVER seen. he was wider than the double-entrance. he was HUGE. At once I knew why everyone looked horrified at me..... what an unfortunate coincidence.. whoops lol

Apparently (i dont remember), when i was drunk I was explianing to Aus Dave about tampons (feral i know!).. and later that night, when asked how full a certain club was, he replied (and was later informed on his reply) "as full as a tampon!"

Every holliday we would scour the beaches, days on end, collecting HUNDREDS of sandcrabs. More recently (Jan 06) we went to wavebreak island and got burnt to crisps spending the arvo chasing and collecting crabs.. IT'S SO MUCH FUN!!!!
MEMORY #4:
Kara and I went to the opening of Nerang becoming civilised and there were rides and dances and fairy floss etc.. and feeling a bit bored n buff we decided to go on the little kiddies teacup ride just for the hell of it.. little 5 year old came off it looking scared n fragile and i was laughing 'haha this rides a joke' and i got on, yeah, didnt hold on and WHAM the ride started and BAM i flung backward. Kara thought i was playing around but i was half out of the teacup and terrified id get caught in the mechanices. let me tell you it was a very scary ride. makes dreamworld look pissweak!! (not quite but u get it)

Pia, Maleika n I in Kmart changerooms.. Casey Donvans 'listen to ur heart' came on and we (stupidly thinking that coz no1 could see us - then no1 could hear us) sung the song REALLY LOUDLY and passionately.. and walked out of changerooms quite normally afterward. our cousins on the other side of store heard us quite clearly. hehe whoops!

Lying on the floor, the the Valleys ancient mansion and someone standing up holding a bag of goon above my head and pouring it into my mouth everytime i squeezed their ankle.. WHO WAS THAT!!?! hahaha
