Action Kwame, is one of the hardest working persons in the music/radio field.Originally from Clarendon Jamaica, Kwame came to Florida in 1991 where he attended Parkway
Middle School and then graduated to Dillard High. While trying out for soccer at Dillard High School he met a few new friends who were in the process of building a sound Called Manijah
Movements.It was then that Kwame got the opportunity to use his skills and further express his love. Manijah Movements had him playing at a lot of functions and various types of parties. However, all good things had to come to an end and all the members from the sound decided to go their separate ways.Kwame then teamed up with a friend and built a new sound which they named Silver Star International. Back then Silver Star was known as the “ghetto people sound.†They were booked throughout the year and that kept him extremely busy. The popularity of the sound expanded and with this he was given the opportunity to start playing on the radio.His first radio gig was on an american underground station playin reggae and hiphop the he move on to 96.9 Irie FM. By being on the radio he was now getting dates outside of the sound. He would frequently play at South Florida’s hot spots Soca City, Strawberry’s and Poolside to name a few.Kwame then started to play for Sweetness Sound and after that Action Pack. After joining the action pack team, Kwame became the only remaining member. By being with Action Pack, he got the name Action Kwame.People easily adapted to the new name. Action Kwame hosts Energy Wednesday’s at Penthouse Nite Club, Each week he plays with numerous guest artists and guest sounds such as Black Chiney, Poison Dart, Onkore, Supa Twitch, Swacth International, Fire
Links, Walshy Killa, Stone Love and Madd Squad. Now he is a member of a brand new sound on the
scene called Affiliate Sound. Now there is a new enegry on the rise its the ENEGRY SQUAD. The sounds team up and from a squad of talented slectas and sound with Action kwame, Affilate Sound, Onkore and Shadow Force We Are The ENERGY SQUAD!!!!!!!!
