About Me

Hi there, I'm Konrad and I have a spectacular story to tell you. It's about a band thats been together for quite awhile now and I think its about time for me to open up and tell it like it really happened, from the begining. So sit back and enjoy. It all started with me and a young brotha by name of Rob Swenson. I was hanging out at a local Abbotsford bar called City Limits and singing on open mike nite when ever I got the chance. Well one nite Rob came to see me sing, a friend of mine told him about me and said I was good and he better come check it out. He played a mean guitar and always dreamed of playing in a band, and so did I. So that nite we decided to start a band and call it Pollo Loco, it would be a reggae/rock band, exactly like our favourite band Sublime. Well the trouble was we needed a good bass player and drummer, to lay down the groove. And that my friend was no easy task. Until of course we met Brandon and Cary. They were a couple of dudes from the same high school I used to go to, only a couple of years younger, and they blew me away with their rythmn section powerhouse. They had been playing in bands together for years already and had playing together down to an art. We finally had it all together and we were playing shows and getting plenty of love too!!! The party wasn't too bad either. Only problem is that kind of stuff, partying all nite, gets pretty tiring after awhile. I was married by this time and had my first son on the way. At this same time I was becoming increasingly obsessed with buying Cd's. I would buy anything that resembled, to me, the artistic side of music. And because of that I was becoming more and more bored with our music. I wanted to be fun but I also wanted to sound different than everybody else and I didn't care if that meant less fans. I could see that Brandon and Cary felt the same way, Rob did not. So we parted ways with Rob and tried our darndest to come up with something fresh. We created a few good songs but we got bored because we didn't have a jam space, and no guitar player. Eventually Rob, Me, Brandon, and Cary got together again and tried to do it one more time, but Rob wasn't feelin' what direction the 3 of us wanted to go in, so he quit. We didn't know what do by this time and i got really depressed about it all and thought that maybe this was a sign telling me to just give up my dream. One nite astral beings came down to all 3 of us while we were sleeping and flushed our brains out of all toxic mind matter. I woke up refreshed the next morning and was chock full of all these ideas. We all got together later that week and brain stormed a tornado of ideas. We didn't need a guitar player and a bass player!! Cary would do both at the same time!!! This would be hard to figure out at first but we were sure with time we would have something fresh and brand spanking new for the creatures of earth to digest. Shimmering light formed around our heads, letting us know something beyond our comprehension was transmitting frequencies directly to our minds. What was this external force that scrambled our normal run of the mill thoughts and instead deposited in their place file upon file of raw audio vibrations? Is this the begining of some kind of interplanetary communication? Where do we go from here? Only the Klassic Trio can tell. STAY TUNED.................................
