Lad'e Esther is one of the most highly respected Bay Area artist and producer around. Since the age of 14, Lad'e has been singing, composing, and producing R&B, Hip Hop, and Gospel. Lad'e Esther A.K.A. Lady Lee made her first album debut singing on Dirty Looks LP in 1996 at Live Oak Recording studio in Berkeley, CA. Lad'e is now ready to shock the world with her new smooth original sound that has been compared to Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, LiL Kim The Brat, Arethra Franklin, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blidge and more. To say it all, she does it all. These songs are a set of well written R&B, hip hop tracks with a smooth sound and a radio edge. Though some tracks have an over all indie sound to them, these tracks hold high musicianship, and excellent performances. The music is tightly wrapped, and the vocals are a mix of classic R&B styles, and old school jazz styles as well. The songs are diverse and sung with soul, and energy. The disc is very laid back and the guitars, beats, and keys are done almost flawlessly.
