Composed and arranged songs for the 5-15 member orchestra since 1999 till today.1997 - dj'ing was passed down from my two older brothers while helping at local youth dances that we're held every month at the Hespeler Arena. Started on 2 "Realistic" (radio shack) belt driven turntables and eventually upgraded to better tables, cd players, and currenty using 2 1200's a mac book and M-audio's connective torq.approx 1999 - 2000 Eric Dookie (dj recon) and myself teamed up with Kevin Francis (mc lavem) and Daryl Pooran (dj vibe) and created the DEK Movement which later became a part of DYI (diversified youth inc). Committed to providing the local youth with ongoing events within the tri cities and promoting non violence.DYI created a hip hop culture session at the YMCA every tuesday night for over a year where local break dancers, emcee's, and anyone who wanted to have a try on 2 turntables could come to practice, learn from each other and learn the true roots of todays hip hop culture. The course was later revamped and moved to the Cambridge Centre for the Arts where it went through 3 full semesters. DYI also toured local school with a presentation about youth violence, drug abuse and homelessness. visit www.diversifedyouthinc.com for more info.2006 - Registered "Essence Entertainment" a music service for events ranging from clubs , private partys to concerts and weddings.
