I am here for Friends

About Me

I graduated from LSU in 2004, and I still keep in touch with most of my good friends from there, but I don't get to see them much. Since I graduated, I have been in and out of the Houston area, working for Schlumberger and traveling a lot. I was mostly traveling to rigs around Texas and Louisiana, and I spent 5 months in Trinidad for work. While I was in Houston, I was living in Katy with some friends, mainly hanging out with some of my old high school friends. Recently, I took a new position with Schlumberger, and moved to Oklahoma City. If you are in OKC, let me know and we can meet up. I'm single and have no kids. I'm not looking for a serious girlfriend, I'm just trying to have fun right now, and do whatever is going on when I'm not working. I'm still exploring the world, trying to try everything I can, and go everywhere I can get to.

My Interests

Staying active and having a good time. Anything from doing stuff outdoors, weekend benders, traveling, hanging out with friends, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Don't really care to meet any celebrities, or any idols that you know about....just any good running buddy. In a girl, taking my time and looking for a good one.

Music:

Rock, Jam Bands, Texas Country, Blues, and pretty much anything that sounds good.

Movies:

Depends on my mood. Mostly comedy or action/adventure.

Television:

Don't watch much of it. Most of the time I'll just watch cartoons like Adult Swim or The Simpsons and of course LSU football.

Books:

I read more than I watch TV. Still searching for favorites, let me know if you have any suggestions.

My Blog

I finally have plans

Alright, so I talked with my multiple current managers and have worked out that I am off from this Wednesday until next Wednesday.  So, for my brother, I am going to check out Tobago on Wednesday...

Coming home....................

I just heard word about an hour ago that I am going back to Houston.  Trinidad can't pay for me any longer, so they are done with me on Wednesday.  Not exactly sure about flight, or maybe so...

Sunday Dinner

First off, a little bit of background info.  I was working on a rig in the middle of the jungle in Trinidad.  We have a site set up with the "camp", which is where we sleep and eat, and then...

Back from Barbados

I had been quite busy with work for a while.  I was on that rig in the middle of the jungle until about December 5, and then I had to work on all of the paperwork for about week or so.  I co...

I have a week off

I have a week off starting on Saturday (16dec).  Flights to Houston are a bit pricey ($1400+US) due to the whole last minute thing, so I don't think I'm going to make it to Houston.  I'm loo...

One month down, about 5 to 7 left.

I have made it to the one-month mark now, and sadly enough, I still haven't really been a tourist, but I am starting to get used to the culture.  There were more holidays this week, and another n...

Week 3 heading into the 4th

Well, week 3 hasn't been too radically different from the first 2 weeks.  Work has been about the same, and I went out a few times at night.  Thursday was T&T National Holiday for Chines...

The story of a dirty old man

I think I met the dirtiest old man this weekend.  He is a contract DD doing some work for SLB and crashed at the staff house.  I will start off with a bit of background on him.  He is ...

Just another week

I just might be one of the strange foreigners that works too much and fucks up the curve.  Since I am living with other international mobile employees, they are my friends, and my ride to and fro...

Trinidad........Week 1

Well, I survived a week in Trinidad.  I do not have any extremely crazy stories yet, but it has been a decent week.  It would be a little bit better if I was on vacation with some good runni...
