Raised in Cheshunt ( home of Cliff richard, Posh spice, and Tesco ).....
Educated at cheshunt school, then on to east herts college where I studied Electrical engineering, machine shop and welding.....
I then spent a while doing nothing much (blame thatcher).......
I've worked as a lighting tech. for a mobile disco, a dancer (robotics), and I've done various shop ,factory and warehouse work.........
I met the other half, had two wonderful kids then moved to Eastbourne.........
I'm currently working as a street lighting engineer all over east sussex and Brighton, putting up new lanterns.......
I have a weird sense of humour, (Goon like) I love comedies:- film, tv, book, live, in fact any type..... Laughter is medicine for the soul ( and smiling uses less muscles )......
A special place in my heart will always be reserved for douglas adams the creator of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
I first got into this on the radio in 1979 , then got the records. The first two books (of a trilogy in five parts) got released about the same time as the series hit the tv screens, then the long wait (about 25 years) for the last of the radio series to be made followed the next year by the long awaited film......
Its part of my life..its who I am....
