I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello! I'm a married stay at home mommy to Kyra, my lovely 2 1/2 year old, and Luke, my 6 month old son.

My Interests

I love computer scrapbooking, anything outdoors, fall, sewing, and anything that simplifies my life.

I'd like to meet:

I'm especially interested in meeting people who take an enormous interest and delight in putting their whole heart and lives into their home and family. Raising Kyra and lUke and being a wife to Jeff has been my most challenging and rewarding job ever.

Music:

My new favorite artist is Brandi Carlile. Turpentine is a great song. And I love the itunes store. Instant music gratification, no CD case to break, nothing to store or dust, and cheaper! Wahoo!

Movies:

We just watched the Transformers movie. After it was over I had to ask my husband to explain the whole ending. So confusing! Oh, I loved Hot Fuzz. But you can't watch it when the little ones are up.

Television:

Sigh. I like Heroes, but we always miss it.

Books:

Any married women out there, please read,"Created to Be His Help Meet," by Debi Pearl. It may change your life. I wish I read it years ago. And "To Train Up a Child." Same authors. But a note of caution. Once you read it, you can't go back. It's like taking the red pill in the Matrix. :)

Heroes:

I'm going to change this section to "Role Models." Heroes is a little strong. My role models are Mike and Debi Pearl. They have a lovely ministry called No Greater Joy. I've read many of their books and every back article from their website www.nogreaterjoy.org.
