Would have liked to have met: Thomas Jefferson "Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppression of body and mind will vanish like spirits at the dawn of day." -- Thomas Jefferson
Not much I dont like, but I really hate violent music unless it can rightly be justified. I know what it's like to be angry or hurt but to listen to it can be a real downer. I most enjoy listening to uplifting vocals and instrumental music. String preffrebally, Guitar, and piano are probably my favorites, but I love listening to anything that has soul behind it.
Z Favorites: Charoletes Web, To Kill a Mocking Bird, A River Runs Through It, ET...alot of Disney and Classics, I can enjoy just about any movie as long as I know what I'm getting myself into and beleive I can receive something good from it.
Same as above I can watch just about anything and enjoy it IF I prepare my heart to receive something good of it. It's hard sometimes for me to feel entertained in front of the TV rather I wind up feeling grossed out or jealous so I try to avoid it when I can.
Z Favorites: The bible has become my new favorite because it challenges my understanding, it requires work on my part to digest and put to practice what it says. It's been the most stimulating thing I've ever read and most rewarding at the same time. Again Charoletes Web, Solitary Blue, Little Women, Heidi,...The Cat & The Fiddle and the Mouse Flew Over The Spoon lolListen to the MUSTN'TS, child, Listen to the DON'TS Listen to the SHOULDN'TS The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS Listen of the NEVER HAVES Then listen close to me-- Anything can happen, child, ANYTHING can be. ~Shell Silverstine
Jesus, My Dad, Mom, and others who have stood by what they beleive in...life can be a battle and I have great respect for those who willingly put there lifes before others. I also admire and greatly respect those serving our country (polotics aside), our missionarys and all who are a part of God's Ministry! I would like to explain more in depth why my dad will forever be my hero.Daryl Haisley fought cancer for 3 years losing his battle in June of 93. Rather I should say, he chose to leave this world for a better one. As scary as my dad's illness was for all of us my dad remained strong for his family. I beleive his remarkable faith, and really his life was an inspiration to all. My dad trusted God in all things even in the days that lead up to his death. He knew God would provide for his family when he no longer was able. This understanding was reflected in his smile and in the unsermoutable peace one felt when in his company. When my dad chose to go home to heaven I was angry but now, now I'm proud of him for hanging on as long as he did. He was and is the best father I could have ever asked for! My dad never stoped beleiving or trusting in his God. I can hardly await the day I will be reunited with my hero, my dad!
