Years are passing by and i'm still here standing the ground. It's hard to have enough energy for all the projects at once. When i work i see that society in clubs changes and there is too much alcohol and drugs around us... Party animals are losing their mind and if that continues i really don't know what will happen... Still there is music that free my minds and put all the heavy and bad things aside... I try to be the same BEAR that i was, thaking for the ones i love and showing no mercy for ones that tries to hurt us...
Matevz Mikec aka Spykee DJ started his successful career as a DJ more than seven years ago and ascended to become one of the top Slovenian DJ’s. He has been acknowledged by the audiences as well as professional DJ’s to be one of the pioneers regarding the development of R&B culture in Slovenia. In 2002 Spykee introduced R&B music to the masses for the first time through a live broadcast from Club OZ on Radio Antena, the most popular radio station in Slovenia. First mass attended R&B nights with Spykee DJ were relocated from the Club OZ to Discotheque Global soon after.Spykee has been spreading his music by starring as a guest DJ in nightclubs across Slovenia as well as in foreign countries (e.g. Croatia, Greece, and the Slovak Republic). He made his biggest mark on the music scene in the Discotheque Aquarius on Pag Island, Croatia where he was the resident DJ for two straight years.In 2003 he furthered his career path by starting to work as a TV host for Carli TV, the first music television network in Slovenia. He left Carli TV crew in 2006, but still kept large and passionate fan base he created while on TV. He also became the support DJ to one of most popular Hip Hop crew ''KOCKA''. He designed his own web site in the end of 2005 (www.spykee.net), which is the first web site in Slovene language that is wholly dedicated to the R & B culture. There is tons of content to check out on the web site – For example, one can find the first Slovene R & B music chart there as well as Spykee’s “live mixes” that are primarily being used for promotion purposes and have been receiving exceptional acclaim worldwide. Today, the urban R & B music is inseparable part of the culture and lifestyle of many teenagers and young adults. In 2006 DJ Spykee and Slovenian producer DJ Zep started beats and production crew, named ''HOLLA Record''. In december 2007 he worked in Ljubljana as a warm-up DJ to one of the biggest world stars like 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks & DJ Whoo Kid...
