About Me

Having worked as a hairdresser with Blu Cantrell in Harlem and as a backing vocalist for Jocelyn Brown, Sheffield born Savannah Knight is back in the UK and ready to release her own mesmerising single ‘Sexification’
Savannah comes from a family with music at its heart, all her siblings sing, play an instrument or both, giving her the perfect environment to grow as an artist. With a talented household it wasn't long before Savannah began her training in one of the best places for an R&B hopeful - the church choir at 12 years old.
It was Savannah’s move across the pond to America to live with her aunt in The Bronx, where she was bitten by the performing bug and soon secured session singing work and backing vocal gigs. It was her co-worker at the time, Blu Cantrell that encouraged Savannah to use her talent and expression and pursue a career in music. The talented singer/songwriter has now returned to the U.K., sung with Jocelyn Brown and is now ready to set her eyes on a solo career.
Savannah's music style has been described as original but one that comfortably straddles R’n’B and Pop. Her infectious upbeat musical style and contemporary lyrics are here to stay. Her debut single ‘Rock Your World’ an R’n’B single penetrated the club scene and became a dancefloor smash.
Her new spellbinding single ‘Sexification’ is taken from the forthcoming debut album ‘On Fire’, out later this year. The sexy laid back radio edit is a percussion accentuated and groove led affair overlaid with Savannah Knight’s eastern influenced vocals. To add to the flavours, the single is given a bit of ragga spice by dancehall MC Frankey Maxx who also featured on Raghav’s ‘Angel Eyes’.
This pure substance R’n’B single, comes with a carousel of remixes for all occasions from the dancefloor to the radio. We have remixes courtesy of Riffs and Rays [House Club Remix] who have been famed for their white hot remixes for Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s ‘Catch You’, Inaya Day’s ‘Nasty Girl’ & Masters at Work. The remix package is made complete with the booty shaking ‘Funky House’ Mix by Andy Lee and a heavy dancehall dashed ‘Club Mix’ by London’s finest DJ Dodge.
