About Me

Hello, Im Karl and I live in midtown Atlanta. I am a professional recording engineer and a producer. I also am a songwriter and play most instruments. I"m at a point in my life where although I am sucessful in my professional life, I am done sacrificing my personal life. I am looking for a sweet, pretty, smart girl. Someone that can hang and have fun. A girl who isn't just looking to get "F'ed up" and party. (been there, done it.) Are there any single lovely women that have respect for themselves and want to be pampered and adored? An independent girl? I am an old fashioned, hold the door open, treat a woman like she should be treated type of guy. I am very honest (to a fault sometimes) and don"t like drama. I am a "hopefull" romantic. What can i say. :) ************************************************************ ********************************************* So here is my career life...
I moved to Cali for College then attended Full Sail recording engineering school in Orlando. I worked in Miami in a few studios before moving to Atlanta. There I worked with A lot of great rock bands like Aerosmith, STP, Pearl Jam and Kings X. Then I started working with R&B singer Keith Sweat and did a bunch of hits with him including "Nobody" and "Twisted". I also worked on the 1 r&b track "Freak Me" by Silk, a top 10 album by Kut Klose and got to work on L.S.G., the r&b supergroup with Keith Sweat, Gerald Levert (r.i.p) and Johnny Gill. We worked on a lot of other records including The Isley Brothers, R Kelly and Dru Hill. Went on tour with Keith for 3 years as Front of House mixer and went all over the world, including Europe and South Africa. Then I went on to work with an amazing person, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC. I worked on her solo record "Supernova" and co-wrote a song about her dad called "A star is born". I also got to work on another Tupac album (I recorded "Pain" for the "above the rim" soundtrack and met him back in the day. R.I.P.) I was managing her studio when the accident happened. What a loss. She was so peacefull and content. Wish we all could be that centered. There after, I moved to Nashville. Worked with alot of great artists there, Lil' Wayne, Birdman, Gretchen Wilson and met some of the most amazing players and writers. After living in Nashville for a few years I moved back down to Miami to own and run OceanVu recording studio. Here I got to produce and work with alot of great artists such as Ashlie Dean, Ten 13 Concept, Shortstack and I Digress. Its been a great trip so far. Some ups and some downs. Some lessons learned and some repeated. I have a few music projects up on my space, one is my band "diets are for models" and my electro project "karlh". (check them out if you can.)So here I am in Atlanta and loving it. All is great and I've been making great records again. This year I've worked on Ushers "Here i stand" (had a top ten hit with the remix to "love in the club" pt 2 with lil wayne and beyonce..played guitar on it too), alot of DTP artists including Luda, Rae Rene on Jive, Michelle Williams from Destinys Child, Chili from TLC, Noel, I-5, Young Jeezy and dutch badass Esmee to name a few. So stay tuned...I am managed by Awesome Monica T. at Milk Money, ATL. (404) 685.1697. These videos are of me and Ten13 concept making their record.
