i am an open minded, generous, down to earth and genuinely caring person who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. I do however have had many close friends who in one way or another disappointed me or have done something that I don't agree with or understand. That goes both ways too, I don't claim to be any better than anybody else and don't expect everyone to understand or agree with me either. A true friend is not to judge how or what you do in your personal life as long as there's no intent to be harmful to one another. I will however be the first one to call you out on something that effects me in a negative or personal way though, and I'm not one to sugar coat what I have to say either. In that respect, I have been at times taken as a bit harsh or even bitchy. I don't intend to come off that way, it's not out of spite, it's just straight to the point with my honest opinion or concern. Unfortunately some people can't take criticism well and react in a defensive and hateful way. That just shows me that you don't take me seriously, most likely because of something you don't want to face up to. If you can't take any responsibility for your actions and don't seem to give a shit that you may have hurt someone in some way, then I really don't think you are capable or deserving enough to be a very good friend to me or anyone else for that matter! Someone like that is not worth my time and effort. They are just delusional people who unfortunately will never learn and are a disaster waiting to happen. I'd rather not be around that kind of senselessness and don't really want to be taken down that path along with them either. Luckily I have many dear friends who realize and are mature enough to know that I'm only trying to help or am concerned about something they may do or behave. Take it or leave it, we don't have to agree, a little respect goes a long way in a true friendship though! I think we should be able to appreciate a friends honesty and never take them for granted. All I'm saying is that I just want to live my life as stress free as possible which includes having healthy and happy relationships. Of course I am aware that not everyone will live up to my morals and standards. I have no problem with that either, as long as we get along well enough to learn about and have respect for each other. Life is too short to waste time arguing with some one who refuses to see the whole picture! It is true what they say - What goes around, comes around.. remember that before you do something hateful. At least be remorseful if you already have or you're apt to lose a good friend!
