Listening to music! I am such a huge fan of great music. I love to listen to lyrics! such a gift to be a song writer. I am Learning to enjoy excerise ~ that's a long process indeed~ I would have to list gin as an interest (not so much of an interest that a church basement meeting is in order) As cheese as this sounds;I love to laugh. The kind of laugh that makes your stomach and jaw ache and tears stream down your face. Nothing amuses me more than quick wit and great sarcasm.
Basically I came to myspace for the music. There is so much incredible talent out there and it's refreshing to hear music from real musicians working hard to make a living doing what they love. That being said I have made some really cool connections with music fans all over the world on myspace and am having a great time.
Where do I begin....... I love real Rock and Roll and love metal music (see not all metal fans must have mullets). My real interest in music began in the late eighties when I heard the song "Youth Gone Wild" I was at the cottage of a family friend,in the attic smoking an Export Gold. I think Sebastian Bach is one of the most talented vocalists and front men ever - bar none. For me nothing beats driving to work in the morning with some heavy music blaring to get me going. That being said I love all types of music. To name a few: Sebastian Bach, Elton John, Johnny Cash, Willy Nelson, Pat Benetar. I love soul music of the 60's and 70's, Janis Joplin, Rod Stewart, Judas Priest, Dixie Chicks, Lori Mckenna, Robert Palmer. Hell this list could on for days.
Goodfellas, Being Julia (Annette Benning was amazing), Almost Famous, Jane Eyre, The Terminal Again too many to mention.
Sopranos by far my fave. Totally addicted to The Office!!! Trailer Park Boys I love a great documentary CBC has some really great ones weekly. Will and Grace was my weekly dose of laughter. Can't wait for season 2 of HBO's Big Love. Yup I like TV!
Flesh and Blood - Micheal Cunningham. Million Little Pieces (don't care about the controversy). Dirt - Motley Crue Bio. The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold.
Don't say as I have heroes, I am inspired by women who know that their power is from within and not about what they look like, what the scale says or most importantly what a man thinks you are!
