FLOODHORSE

This is a tribute site for the band FLOODHORSE from Skovde, Sweden. They were a struggling band around the time grunge broke. Richard and Fredrik, the main songwriters, formed one of Swedens first "grunge" bands, after a trip to America in 1991, when they saw Nirvana and Pearl Jam live at small clubs. Practicaly no one had ever heard about those bands when the two got back home to Sweden, and thought the two "grunge kids" were crazy. A few months after this EVERY ONE wanted to play that kind of music, and adapted the drop D tuning :) We tried out a few people, playing Nirvana covers and some of our own similar sounding songs. It didn't work out too well. Richard and Fredrik continued to write songs and made alot of demo recordings.
Although not really a full band yet, the guys thought their material was really good and wanted the record companies to pay attention. The band put out a demo under the monicker "Moonster Bullet". It was heavily influenced by Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Nothing happened apart from a few good reviews.
There were quite a few member and name changes at first, but this later turned into FLOODHORSE.
Floodhorse was a grunge/metal band that never got the attention they deserved! Here's a chance for the band to get some posthumous recognition. Thanx for listening!
