Picture this....... Close your eyes for a second and see these words of poetry as being the thoughts of a young woman who's been through a lot in life, dealt with a very damaging past, and in the midst of overcoming it tends to completely feel lost and confused in 'love' only to hide behind an invisible wall and withdraw from the slightest thought of emotional attachment.All she ever wanted was a good man, One who she knew would always understand. All she ever wanted was a good man, One who's heart she'd connect to just through his holding of her hand.All she ever wanted was a good man, Til' the confusion of emotions crept in and she begin to not understand. The many questions in her mind which puzzled her each day, the various new experiences which drew her closer to her dismay.How can these emotions have gotten so strong in such a short time. She's always wanted to settle down, and he was the type of man she always had in mind. Each day gone by with at least a goodmorning or goodnight. To see each other for at least two minutes,to sleep on the phone til' sunlight.The little things that always matter but never seem to exist, they did. The joy of feeling like recieving that favorite toy, in your innocence of being a kid. Even in disagreement, anger never seemed to last, because once in each others presence things seemed to not clash.He was her knight in shining armor, and she was his Angel in disguise, so then the question begin to arise, from here then what lies. Was she ready to grow because growth never ends. Was she really ready to settle down, or still wanting to enjoy just having fun before the seriousness of situation kicked in.Was she whole in herself, to be able to offer everything, Or was she never really ready for, a serious thing?All she ever wanted was a good man, That's what she said, but only time will help to really understand.A few questions tend to float in the air, some among others which were stronger then the thoughts of hers. Is that really what she wanted, or was it nothing but a thought? She found a real love, one which couldn't be bought. Was she really ready to settle, or was it freedom that she prefered? Maybe she just wanted to fly in the wind with the freedom of a bird. Was she afraid of commitment, and always hidden behind walls? Or was she going to be willing to allow love to break them down after all? Put her trust God and let him come in and move, Let him be the one to tell her there's nothing that hasn't been proved. Let him guide her path and all things will fall into place, Open up in a new light of CHANGE and just abide in everlasting Grace.All she ever wanted was a real man, She's found one, so now the choice is in her hand!!!The 'Real Man' Sits In Anticipation, Praying To God, Hoping, and Patiently Waiting 4 the Outcome!!!
