I am a 27 year old school teacher. I teach Pre-K in the public school and I really, really love it. The kids are funny and I really enjoy being with them. I hope that I will be able to stay in Pre-K for a very long time. My mom is my classroom aide, which I really enjoy too. I am married to Jeffrey, who I have been with since we were in High School. We have been together for ten years and have been married for four of those years. We are expecting our first baby in June but do not know what we are having yet. We decided we wanted to start a family around Thanksgiving of 2007 but had to wait a little while longer to get the timing right for school. I'm anxious about being a mother, but I also think I am very realistic. I have been very fortunate that I haven't been sick or had any other nasty side effects so far. The main thing I want for my baby is a happy and healthy life. I hope that my child can have the same happy childhood memories that I do. I am working on my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy. It has been extremely tough but I know how much I need to do this. I will be finished in February of 2010 and will be so relieved when it is over! We are re-modeling parts of our house for the new baby and Jeffrey is putting up all new walls and putting all new hard wood floors down. We are both anxious for that to be done. I enjoy spending time with my family. I especially like spending time with Trevor, my brother. He was my mom's "surprise" baby, and I was 16 when she had him. He is by far one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have one sister, Sherry. Most people have a hard time believeing we are sisters, we are really different. Sometimes she comes and volunteers in my classroom, and the kids love "Miss Sherry". I am a very simple person and I am most happy spending my time in the classroom, with Jeffrey, my family, and my two weenie dogs.
