What about me?
I do love and enjoy my life. It has been a freak'n roller coaster ride - but it has been a memorable one and it will continue to be one.I have been married for 28 years to a great man whom I have known since I was 17. I have an 18 year old who is going to be going to Albany College of Pharmacy in the fall and whom I am sooo very proud of.I have good friends and family whom I enjoy spending quality time with.I enjoy my glass of merlot at the end of a day and when I go in the hot tub to relax.I have been a nurse for 28 years and have met many patients who have touched my life in soo many ways and have changed me for the better. (I was a Palliative Care Nurse for a period of time) An AIDS patient who I spend his last breath with holding him. A patient who taught me how to make rum balls before she died of brain cancer. A woman who was 39 and I was able to relieve her pain because I am a Reiki Therapist along with being a nurse. She left behind 3 young children when she died. An older gentleman who told wicked jokes. Family members whom I cried with while their loved ones were dying. Everyone of them have touched my heart and will be there forever. I will never forget any of them.I enjoy my books to read. I like fiction. Life can be ugly. I want some fluff to take my mind off all the death, destruction that is all around us.I love my Rottweiller - Capone. Best dog I ever had.I am a ball buster. lol. Love to have a good time - but not at anyone's expense.Life should be cherished.
Good Friends should be kept close.Hmmm - that's it for now... I'm sure I will think of more..
