MyGen Profile GeneratorAdam Lidbetter aka Fostec is a drum & bass producer/dj from Torquay in Devon and studies and music technolgy at Thames Valley University in London. Fostec first got into music production at the age of 15, inspired by the likes of DJ Shadow and Unkle. However the experience of hearing d&b through a big sound system turned him, and from then on he began to buy vinyl and turned his attention to making drum & bass. In terms of who Fostec rates in the d&b scene, he says Calibre and LTJ Bukem are big influences, alongside leading players such as Break and Commix. Fostec's biggest achievement to date was winning the cutting room on BBC's 1xtra which helped raise his profile and get his name out there. In the future Fostec wants to complete the course he's doing and keep pushing things forward.I also do some sound engineering, so if anyone needs any tracks recording, let me know...
