Ok, I'm no longer in Canada. Bummer. After ten months, I'm broke, directionless, and (sometimes) sober. I also seem to have developed a painful addiction to 60's-style garage punk. Oh well.
Future travel plans... are feeling like pipe dreams. Boo.
Anyhow...My punk rock CV. Ha. For those who don't know me, I occasionally do a zine. Its called Facial Disobedience and its usually a pretty whiney personal zine. I've not done one for a while. I also used to churn out a thousand words every now and then for Last Hours - and I may ruin your zine too if you ask nicely (please?).
I also, mostly to kill time due to poverty, put out a free one sheet music zine every couple of months called Bad Apples. I put the transcripts up on the local hardcore board but then spam bots hacked it to death. So...um.. message me or something and I'll post you copies.
Once, many moons ago, I shouted like a poor mans Kevin Seconds for Pilger and drunkenly thrashed my bass out of time for Gordon Gano's Army . GGA have put out a bunch of records since that I'm sure are worth checking out, and Screwed Up Flyer were a new band featuring ex-Pilger and Intent people. But they split up already.
Me, I'm now screaming for a hardcore band called Like Grenades. We're pretty angry and theres a demo on the way. Yeah!
