I can listen to almost anything, but my two least favorite genres are country and rap. My all time favorite type of music is most easily described as "alternative." Some of my favorite artists include The Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Death Cab for Cutie, Pearl Jam, Gorillaz, Muse, Placebo, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, The Offspring, 3 Doors Down, The Verve, Social Distortion, and Jimmy Eat World. Other music I enjoy usually are scores to great movies. So John Williams instantly comes to mind. Then there's the classic Disney animated film soundtracks and of course the one and only "Weird Al" Yankovic.
Concerning films, I have a lot of favorites. Some of them are: -Anchorman -Batman Begins -Beerfest -Clerks I & II -The Day After Tomorrow -Ferris Bueller's Day Off -Fight Club -Grosse Pointe Blank -Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -The Indiana Jones Trilogy -All of Quentin Tarantino's films -The Lethal Weapon films -The Lord of the Rings -The Matrix (no. 1 not the other two pieces of crap) -Men in Black -Monty Python and the Holy Grail -My Cousin Vinny -The Princess Bride -Rocky I, II, VI -Signs -South Park the movie -Spider-man films -the original Star Wars trilogy (not the remakes or 1,2,3) -Superman I and Returns -Unbreakable -X-Men -Thank You For Smoking -Lady in the Water -Jackass -Team America -16 Blocks -The Godfather -High Noon -A Fish Called Wanda -Donnie Darko -Requeim for a Dream -The Departed -The 40-Year-Old Virgin -Happy Gilmore -and nearly every Disney animated film -The Lion King -Aladdin -Tarzan -etc.
