Mari has started her career as a DJ in 1999. From Djing all over Brazil since them, her talent has been sought after for her unique Jazzy Drum n Bass overtones going deeper into nujazz, broken beat and house.
The result: a set of all things soulful, rhythmically textured, and melodically provocative.
From all events that she has been part off is important to mention: Ecosystem 1.0 in Amazon Rainforest, Fashion week July 2002 launching of the Electronic Music documentary in Sao Paulo and in Rio sep/oct/2002; The opening of the Youth Week playing for seven thousand people in nov/2002; The two last editions of Sao Paulo Fashion Week; Coca-cola Vibezone in Sao Paulo playing for twelve thousand people; Basement Party in Joao Pessoa and Recife Beats; Recife Indoor playing for forty thousand people, among others
Mari also has performed internationally at the W KD Club in an organized party by DJ Chris da Hornz, one of the hotspot Drum n Bass London DJs and Hot Beatz party at Camdem Lock playing with Spyder and Tisso.
She has performed besides : Llorca (France), Jazzanova (German), Karsten John (German), Harry Cho Cho Romero, Paolo Modjo, DJ Patife and Cleveland Watkiss (UK), DJ Marky, Xrs, DJ Tahira, Julio Torres and Drumagick.
In order to always be connected within her musical style which mixes elements of Jazz and Brazilian music with electronic beats; she travels annually around Europe to explore new sounds amplifying her repertoire with such artists like: Llorca, Crazy Penis, Aqua Bassino, Da Lata, Vikter Duplaix, Marcus Intallex, Henryk Schwarz, Knee Deep, Koop, Jazzanova, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Carl Graig, Amp Fiddler, John Tejada, Kurd Maverick, LTJ Buken, MAW e Azymuth.
Her present projects are: 30hz of which she makes part with DJ Jr Deep (Drumagick). This project focus is into the national productions presenting a selection of international artists and World News . The most important event that 30HZ participated has been the Parada AME Sao Paulo the party gathered about 170 thousand people on the streets.
At the present time Mari shares residency every third friday of the month at 8Bar & Restaurant with DJ Jr Deep (Drumagick)at a project called Rewined! which seeks to present jazz and all its fu sion.
