How many different ways can you experience true love?

About Me

Whenever I'm having a bad day, I immediately think...I wish I was at Disney World. I think this has something to do with the fact that I went to Disney World in 6th grade--and it was just amazing. I was at the age where everything is still really magical. I mean--you know all the Santa business, but for some reason--Tinkerbell flying still seems plausible. And I mean, there is an actual person that flies from the top of the Magic Kingdom--way down to...god knows where. That very small person has an incredible ride every night that she's at work. On days that I don't feel like going to Disney World it is probably because I am having a dance party in the living room, or watching 24 with my roommates, or walking miles around NYC(for a purpose--or more likely--no reason at all.) I have spent time in California and Colorado--and although they are wonderful places to be--I have truly discovered that I am a New England girl at heart. I am honored to be one of those people who gets a wonderful, loving feeling whenever she spots a Red Sox hat (which thank god happens more often than I would have thought in NYC). I think it's interesting that we grow up thinking that our "perfect" lives will end up a certain way. The romantic-comedies(which I love) that end with the guy finding the girl--so content, so romantic. But in real life--it is my friends who have brought me the most fulfilling feelings I can imagine. The laughter, the frustration, the questions, the drinks--most of the time resulting in that breathe--that moment of complete gratitude to be here--doing whatever we may be doing. I mean, cause of course we don't really know what we're doing, but when I'm sitting with a friend and we can look at eachother and breathe--shake our heads--say "who the hell knows"--that's the truth of it all. That's the beauty of it. The head shakes--that's when you know. Oh--and I have dove into the Boston Harbor(during my first--and only triathlon) --and I am still perfectly healthy. Who would of thought--the Chahles dude--is fine--and in fact, beautiful.
