Known throughout New York City as “not the next 2Pac, not the next Biggie, and not the next Nas or Jay-Z†but the “1st Nobiâ€. Nobi, has steadily proven himself as a force to be reckoned with. In a world of music where catchiness outweighs lyrical content Nobi does it all. The combination of work ethic, lyrical wit, authenticity, consistency, and raw talent has drawn a large following. Through the internet medium he has been able to grab ears everywhere from California to Germany. And fans aren’t the only ones listening. Hard work and raw talent have lead to the release of fourteen mixtapes in just four years. Among these mixtapes are “Black Tears†and “Mistreatedâ€, both considered to be classic tapes. The Halloween Massacre, his first street album, was released in October of 2007.
Production for Nobi has been done by names such as GQ Beats(Maino, Gravy, Frankie Krutches), Cinemax(G-Dep, P-Diddy Black Rob, Redman), J. Janson, Strumental,, Adam Deitch(50 Cent, G-unit), and Nobi himself. Many times he has been seen rocking the mic at New York City clubs such as The Tunnel and the legendary Club Speed.
