Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland were Americas first Hollywood Teen idols. This page is dedicated to the both of them for providing such amazing moments on screen. Mick n Joots first appeared together in a movie called "Thoroughbreds Don't Cry" After that, everyone wanted to see them together in films. In the end, they were in 10 films together, with several shorts and specials in between, and were always a success in the box office. Mickey was one of the first friends Judy made at the MGM lot and they quickly became almost inseperable. Mickey gave Judy the nickname "Joots" and after a while, he called him and Judy "Mick 'n Joots". The last film they made together was "Girl Crazy" However, the two would be reunited again years later when Judy requested Mickey be on the first episode of "The Judy Garland Show"
