Welcome to the Mike Zone, this is a place where I reserve the right to warp, shape and contour your mind how ever I please, to make u feel and see what ever I deem you need to see, in my world there are no boundaries except the one’s I create, you must already be wondering, why does this guy talk like this….. well that’s because I know who I am, an that brings me to the first thing I want you to see, REALITY, because in reality, nobody is the same, there are similarities which we use as criteria to compare/a liken one to another, e.g. he’s like/he reminds of Dr. Martin Luther King……. BUT they are not the same, and we are not the same, and that brings me to my second point ACCEPTANCE, difference is not to be discriminated, hated, feared or despised but to be accepted, to many times before have I been the man to want to be a certain way in order to for people to like Mike, it must have been by Gods grace that my eyes were opened for me to see, these people that I wanted to like me, regardless of how I acted whether they like it or not, it was never good enough for them, and in the midst of my unhappiness something said to me, if you aren’t happy……Go Home!!! Lol, an as simple as that I went home, and in that moment it came to me like a revelation which brings me to my next point “THE SELFâ€, it’s not being selfish if you think about what’s best for yourself, what is selfish is when you forget others whilst thinking about yourself. FINDING YOUR-SELF, NUTURING YOUR-SELF, AND UNDERSTANDING THE NEEDS OF THE “SELF†are all important AND OF THESE THINGS ARE OF THE PHYSICAL, Finding yourself is the journey a child takes, from birth, there is no specified time, there is a revelation as you grow, we all get ours at different times, but when you find yourself, YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’VE FOUND YOURSELF, its as simple as knowing what works for you an what doesn’t work for you like trainers that don’t suite you, why cause your self eternal emotional turmoil/inner chaos, leave them in the store, don’t try an see what you can make of them, you will on only upset your-“SELF†for some people its not the trainers it’s a dress etc… you know where I’m going an what I’m talking about Lol. Once you’ve found yourself, it’s all about nurturing your-SELF its no good knowing who you are and then sitting down as if you know it all, it’s all about growth no matter who you are or how old you are when you have found yourself, its all about growth, like a baby, once its born, it’s got to eat and grow/be nurtured otherwise it dies, and it not about finding yourself only to let yourself DIE!! If you’re a reader, read. If you’re a swimmer, swim. If you’re a climber climb and if your multi-talented God Bless you, because some of us would like to be able to do one of those things as well as you, but I guess the same can be said, with all your talents you may not posses the one I have, so as not to promote jealousy…. PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS KIND AND GIVING NATURE, but most importantly in all that you do as you grow recognise one thing, you were created and something deserves thanks for the magnificent work of art you are. As part of your nutrition you should also be eating knowledge of how we came to be, there is a God, of this I am confident, and he has a son (Jesus Christ), and the knowledge of the most high which has been embedded within me from when I was a child have kept me well, enabling me to know who I am, now I’ve been in and out of the church from when I was little, and I’ve picked up everything I know over the last 21 years, it’s a little, I can’t quote you anything, I can sit down an talk with you about some of the biblical stories which are famously known and some not so popular, but I am not say….. Your Pastor, I’m jus another guy God has ordained with a Future, and I guess that’s what I’m trying to convey is:
WE ALL HAVE A DESTINY, A PRE-ETERMINED ONE, NO MATTER HOW SMALL WE MIGHT THINK OR FEEL WE ARE, AS ONE PERSON, WE ARE FEW BUT TOGETHER WE ARE MANY, AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL KNOW THIS. AND IF EVERYBODY PLAYS THEIR PART TOWARDS THE GREATER GOAL THEN WE WILL ALL SUCEED, WE ARE GIVEN TALENTS FOR A REASON, THEY ARE EMBEDDED DEEP WITHIN US FOR A TIME WHEN WE WILL BE CALLED TO USE THEM, AND THEY WILL EVER PRESENT THROUGHOUT AN INDIVIDUALS ENTIRE LIFE, WETHER IT IS NUTURED OR NOT, SO WHY NOT NUTURE YOUR-SELF IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE REWARD OF KNOWING YOURSELF AND THEN NUTURE YOURSELF INORDER TO ACHIEVE THE ULTIMATE GOAL BEYOND ALL COMPRHENSION, AND THAT’S WHAT AWAITS US IN THE AFTERLIFE,and that bring us to my final point UNDERSTANDING, its good to know who you are, its great to know what you need in order to be yourself, but it is a BLESSING when you understand your “SELF†like a clock, if you understand how a clock works thenYou’ve got a clock aka the journey to find your “SELF†begins.Short-term maintenance of the clocks functions after construction e.g. grease it the cogs, aka Nurturing your “SELF†you learn who you are an you can feed yourself correctly.Long-term maintenance and the ability to conduct repairs or replace any parts because you understand the nature of the dilemma, such is the extent of your knowledge aka Understanding the “SELF†you know you need to eat rice an pea’s now you know how to make it Lol, and on top of that yours is perfect every-time and if you for example put in to much rice, then it starts to boil over, you take your time, don’t panic, take the pot of rice off the fire, get the wooden spoon with the big head and you remove the excess and then you boil the rest up and keep the other rice for another time. Just like a pro.And with we have come to the end of who I am,IT TOOK ME TO RELAISE THAT BY BLOCKING OUT THE WORLD
AND THAT BY REFUSING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I LIVE IN THE WORLD
I CANNOT GROW AS PERSON,BY REALISING THAT I CAN LIVE IN THE WORLD BUT NOT HAVE TO BE LIKE THE WORLD AND FOLLOW THE BREEZE HAS HELPED ME TO FIND MYSELF.Sometimes I’m hyper, sometimes I’m stuck in deep thought, sometimes I’m angry, so basically everyday I feel a different way, the best way to find out is to ask, I’m an intellectual, I’m funny and most of all I AM MIKE AKOUMOU, WHO ARE YOU?
