Rock & F'n Rain

About Me

Rainchild is a collection of friends originally deriving from Humble, Texas, a suburb 20 miles northeast of Houston. The band prides itself in bringing positive, objective-in-mind attitude and is composed of truly unique and creative artists focusing on the evolution of the sound of rock music as its influences have in the past. Every member is confident in the contribution to the influence of music and possess' the God given talent and intuition to make it happen. Rainchild currently resides in Houston, looking to broaden horizons with new fans and personal goals. A southern-based rock band at heart, the band always looks to entertain and have fun with a new crowd or please old friends.
After a much needed hiatus from a 6 month tour throughout central Texas in 2003, playing venues such as Lucy's (San Marcos), Patsy's/Club Rive/the Lounge (San Antonio), Red Eyed Fly and the Vibe (Austin/6th St) the band took a break during 2004-2005 to focus on individual goals and to get re-focused on life. Jason and Clayton decided to get things going again in the spring of 2006, bringing back Paul and with Dustin Condon taking over as songwriter/vocalist. With a new frontman, the band has been ready to take on whatever it is they may encounter. Look for Rainchild out and about in Houston during the summer of 2006 as new songs begin to take form and old songs resurface and evolve into instant classic rock anthems. The direction of their sound is a hybrid of influences ranging from grungy alternative rock to classic groovin' southern rock n' roll. Rainchild is currently looking for artist management, booking agents, promoters and anyone else involved in the industry that has faith in their unique sound and that is willing to push them to the edge and bring back the true sound and roots of rock n' roll.
