As the end draws near our position of grace is weakend.
Before we were given to live comfortablly in our grace with veil upon veil separating us from the truth--the adversary was external and far below in infernal realms. Now as the veils fall we must uncomfortably acknowledge the very real and very proximate presence of the adversary.
The conventions of yesterday will not hold this thin tattered veil in place. The temptation to look is irresistable--thus, in this age, we acknowledge the adversary but must also have active congress with it.
A new lie is required to desperately cling to what of grace remains. The lie can be as violent or as gentle as necessary--it must however pay full respect to the adversary even as we hide from it and seek it.
