I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne (yes I'm a geordie girl) but I don't sound like one, courtesy of British Public School Education.
I have a degree in Music, I am a Bachelor of Music, with Honors. I also have an equity card, this makes me an out of work professional Musician/Singer and Actor, also known as a Waitress.
I work at summer camp, because I refuse to grow up, and I'm allowed to pretend I'm a kid for a week and no one minds, hurrah!
I could happily spend hours looking at myself in the mirror, putting on make up and making faces at myself.
no wait I already do that.
I like singing Britten at 4am in skanky youth hostels
I like to pretend I'm really clever.
I like sitting in bars in places I don't know with Vicky and Lydia, judging people, while drinking TEQUILLA, or being bohemian on the Absinthe, or drinking cocktails out of the pitchers.
I am the absinthe fairy
I like to dress up for nights out, and making my housemates dress up too, I have a fancy dress cupboard. I make all my costumes myself.
I love hat boxes and battered old suitcases.
I would like it if hats became as essential as shoes when leaving the house again.
I like the smell of damp cathedral crypts or dungeons or castles, I like smelling old books, and vintage clothes, it's what history smells like.
I'd like to live in the past, in every lifestyle of every era, just to see what it's like.
I'd like to be famous, but not a celebrity.
My biggest ambition in life is to have a big house in the country and a family of my own to fill it, with a garden with a tree house and a hammock for us to play in, and every bed to have a patchwork quilt.
I would like my life to be a musical, I pretend it is, and regularly sing about the fact that I am cleaning, or cooking, or sometimes just that I am walking along feeling good.
I'm a geek, and it makes me happy
I Like: Music, frozen marshmallows, marmite, sparkley things, things that shine, costume jewellery, cats, grammar- especially commas, etiquette and nice manners (I can forgive the lack of them, but its always nice when a guy opnes a door for you or pulls your chair out), I like the idea of courting- though I imagine I'd get bored, dressing up, making fairy costumes, making cards, putting on my make up, kissing, hugging, drama, taking photographs, decorating, lego, sunsets, beaches, marmalade on toast, making sandcastles, singing along to musicals, playing jazz clarinet, going to the theatre, old fashioned things ice cream, post cards from far away places, cheese on toast, black eyeliner, pirates, black and white photos, mnemonics, edward monkton, making scrap books, sitting on roofs watching the world, absinthe, being generally theatrical sitting in coffee shops or parks and people watching and writing down stories about them and their lives as I perceive they might be, lying in a freshly made bed, giving blood, reading, eating breakfast al fresco, champagne, reading the weekend papers after church, christmas, fairies, board games, polishing things, writing letters, getting letters, opening parcels, juggling, cheese on toast.
I don't like: Horses- they scare me, being lonely, my room when its messy, mean people, being woken up unecessarily, people who walk slow for no reason and have the ability to take up the entire pavement, really superficial people.
This nearly made me wee myself at the cinema
