I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I was born in 1979. which basically means that the 80s were a wonderful blur to me. I like ninjas, comics, my black leather jacket, good tv, bad music, dirty jokes, math, spiders, and cats. i dislike rednecks, little dogs, rednecks, ladybugs, rednecks, and most teenagers. my favorite scar is on my left leg and is a beer-related injury. i'm married. she's super hot and funny and way smarter than me, which basically means that i have no idea why she'd bother with me, but i won't argue with her about it. i've recently moved to kansas city, mo to be closer to her. i know approximately 7 people in this state, so if there's any nerds out there in the KCMO area that would like to talk nerdy things, gimme a holler. These are my answers to the world famous questionnaire created by the great Bernard Pivot. Feel free to do it yourself or openly mock my answers. (I love that.)1. What is your favorite word? Loquacious. 2. What is your least favorite word? No. 3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Creatively, "Flowers on the Wall" by the Statler Brothers. Spiritually, "Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison." Emotionally, the movie "Love, Actually." 4. What turns you off? Short jokes. 5. What is your favorite curse word? F@#ck-rag. 6. What sound or noise do you love? The 20th Century Fox fanfare. 7. What sound or noise do you hate? The ringing of a telephone. 8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Movie Director. 9. What profession would you not like to do? Grade School Teacher. 10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? "I understand."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People. Mostly just smart, smart-ass people with varying opinions.Interesting people who know who Joss Whedon is and still think Han should have shot first. People who don't mind talking politics as long we all continue to realize that all politicians are crooks. People who understand that it's okay to like bad movies. (my favorite bad movie of all time is... well, why don't you ask me?) People who are odd, but not people that are odd just for the sake of being odd. People who are odd for the sake of being themselves. People who believe in... whatever, I don't care what. Just believe. People that love to laugh. People that won't make fun of me for loving MOULIN ROGUE. Intense, passionate people. Moral and creative people. Artists. Musicians. Writers. Creators. People that live to change the world around them. People that make me want to be a better me. Also, the greatest living actor in the world, William Shatner.

I just saw "Justice League: New Frontier." It was fantastic. Darwyn Cooke and Bruce Timm are... I don't even have words. The animation was smooth and natural as always. There were very few CG elements...
