Matcli.
Drawing from timeless influences such as U2 and Genesis, as well as revered contemporary artists including Jimmy Eat World, Coldplay and Death Cab For Cutie, Matcli creates music that captivates audiences both live and on record. Matcli cleverly expands on the sounds of their influences to create a unique, fresh style of indie-pop rock music. They take on a number of eclectic styles and mold them into a cohesive signature sound all their own. No two songs sound alike, yet they all resonate Matcli. The composition of Matclis music is both careful and spontaneous, all centered around songwriter, Brandon Aram's, precise voice conveying deep and introspective lyrics. Prominent is the driving yet ambient guitar sounds coupled with tasteful and truly original keys. Drummer Tommy Dunn provides a solid rhythmic base upon which the songs rely for their character. Matcli also dabbles in electronic rythms that are a perfect match and round off the complete epic timbre that is Matcli.
