In 1996 Emil discovered the grand poetry by Karin Boye and got inspired to compose music to her poems and make songs out of them.
He sent his demo to Swedish Television and had the amazing opportunity to perform three of his songs on a national live show that had over a million viewers. This was his TV-debut as well a debut as a singer.
The TV-gig rendered some great things in the following. The Karin Boye Society invited him to perform at the official uncovering of the Karin Boye statue in Stockholm.
Before long he was elected to be an official board member of the Karin Boye Society - an honorable position he had to leave when he moved from Stockholm.
Through the years he has composed many songs and performed at several music festivals and been portrayed on Swedish Radio. He also has performed at numerous exhibitions and conferences arranged by the Karin Boye Society held in Stockholm and in Helsinki Finland. He's also performed in Scotland and Canada.
He's now planning to record his debut album featuring these songs.
