My name is Amber or Am-Bam or Bam. I'm 20 years old and a current Customer Care Representative for DirecTV. I graduated from Sturgis Brown in May 2006 and went to Black Hills State University for awhile THREE different roommates>. I was active in so many programs. I was involved in Basketball, Tennis, Debate, Rodeo club [historian & secretary], MCJROTC [Sergeant/Squad Leader], Journalism, Chorus and the Yellow Jacket Rodeo Team [treasurer]. I do love meeting new people. I also spend my time writing. I have currently one poem published titled, Eight Seconds. I sometimes forget I write. I love traveling to Wyoming and Nebraska to see my family. I am a people person and a big family person. I would be lost without my family and friends. I love local history featuring the surrounding states back when the west was wild; I guess I share the same passion as my father. My ultimate dream would to be a published writer. I also love going to rodeos. I would have to say my favorite event would have to be bull riding. My personality is very welcoming. I am outgoing and say what is on my mind. I admit I am a dork and a klutz. If I wasn't then my life would be dull like a kindergartners scissors. I get along with everyone the best I can. I look out for others above myself and care about them more then anything else. Many have found being able to talk to me about anything. I do the silliest things at the spur of the moment and very humorous along with a taste of sarcasm well a lot of sarcasm. I am also a very open person at times people can usually read me and figure out what is going on. I also have both parents, two sisters, and a nephew. As for my music taste, it is random. I love every kind of music to an extent but I mainly listen to country.

My one and only real bull riding attempt! In 2000 at the Winter Series Finals in Newell, SD, I sat upon Tim. As you could probably tell I didn't last long. I have gotten on a steer too, but this trip/fall was the most memorable. Every time I see this bull, I back away with respect. Since I was his first rider and he was my first bull. Bernie told me that I didn't have to do it, didn't have to prove myself. But I did it for me.

I'd Like to Meet I would like to meet someone who would be honest with me and will like me for who I am. Particularly a cowboy! Someone with a mix of Lane Frost, George Strait, & Chris LeDoux. I also wanted to meet Chris LeDoux in person but unfortunately i can't! I would also like to meet my older siblings (Bryan and Wendi)....but only time will tell. Comment

Music:

Music Country is my favorite genre. I would have to say a few of my favorite country artists are Chris LeDoux , George Strait , Colby Yates , Jason Meadows , Billy Halterman , Shania Twain , Dustin Evans , and Clay Walker .

Movies:

Movies I love the movies 8 Seconds, Walk The Line, Little Mermaid, Transformers, Sweet Home Alabama, Forrest Gump, and Cowboy Up. I also love those romance movies and comic books turned into movies. My favorite actress has to be Reese Witherspoon. I love all the movies she plays in. Another favorite actress is Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey is one of my favorite actors.

Heroes:

Bernie Micheel has been one of my heroes since I met him many years ago. He has been another parent to Kyla and I and we love him so much. There was a time when my family was out at his ranch every week at least two to three times. He was the stock contractor of Ram and Jam Rodeo Company. Unfortunately Bernie lost his life in a ranching accident. He has touched many lives including my own. He will live on forever.

Also another hero would be my father, Gene Shultz . He's always been there for me no matter what. He means so much to me. He gets along with all my friends and always supports me and guides me along the path of life. It had to be hard raising my sister and I at his age. I mean how many people know a guy raising a kid for the first time in his fifties/sixties. He means absolutely everything to me and I love him so much! He recently finished in March 2007 with his radiation treatments for prostate cancer. His PSA has gone down alot but we won't know for a year if the radiation has worked. I ♥ you Daddy!
