Well well, you've stumbled upon myspace, if you've got time to read this, then well done(because it's long). We'll start from the beginning. I was born in Clapham South(SOUTH LONDON) by the tube station which is now a tesco's supermarket(great start), at the age of 6 months old my mum and dad went to Patras(Greece) to live which we did for 3/4 years. My mum escaped Greece without my pops in a covert operation in the middle of the night and came back to Brixton to raise me in better surroundings(haha), which is why you'll see below - he is one of the people I would like to meet. I grew up with my Mother's Family who were immigrants from Cyprus, if you watch my big fat greek wedding - you can then picture my family.
From a very young age I have always loved music - I get it from my mother because she used to wake me up with the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Eurythmics, Anna Vissi, Diana Ross. Ultimately I used to save my penny's and go to a record shop on my high street called Moonlights, this is where I bought my first record which was MICHEAL JACKSON - OFF THE WALL.
At primary school I learnt how to play the brass instrument - Trombone(the one where you slide the handle back and forth), this gave me a feel for music making/appreciation. I then learnt how to play the Piano which is when I really started to excel as a musician and received amazing grades for compositions at secondary school.
I was about the age of 11(1991) when I started Shotokan Karate. I kept this up for 7 years before I started to experience other Martial Arts such as Wing Chun, Wu Shu Kwan, Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, Shaolin(5 Elements), Judo, Boxing, KickBoxing and of course Muay Thai Boxing. I was a Junior Black belt(1st Dan) at 16 years old.
I then started to teach my own students at SFX College in Clapham South. I also assisted my Sensai in a nother class at Fulham Prep School.
When it comes to martial Arts you could say I am a Fanatic and love to train.
I love fight in the ring(ThaiBoxing) I am a Former London and Home counties Champion/Southern England Champion.
I am Always Jetsetting around the World at least twice a month. Im a jack of all trades, master of none. I do a bit of this, a bit of that. I have many fingers in many pies.
At the age of 15, I bought my first set of Record Decks from the LOOT Newspaper which were a pair of Soundlabs DLP1's(Belt Drive, WOW those were the days), I remember buying them with a vestax mixer and taking the train with a mate of mine - Smithy to take them home. My first records for my decks were, 2pac - I ain't Mad 'atcha and Bone thugs n' Harmony - Crossroads which were of course bought from HMV. The rest shall I say is History.
I became part of part of the Notorious SURGERY (men in white coats, and yes I am a DOCTOR) in the year 2000.
At college I was heavily involved in Acting as well as music, this is where I found an interest for the stage, I starred in 2 student productions which were aired at the berlin film festival as well as the edinburgh film festival, one was a remake of Robert Rodriguez's 'El Mariachi', which you may know as 'DESPERADO', while the other production was 'The life of an up and coming Star'(ha ha, funny title i know).I have performed at the Canterbury theatre as Horatio in HAMLET, I have performed at the Dartford theatre as a Pirate in Peter Pan where it was also staged in an open air theatre in devon, I have performed at the Cochrane theatre in London's west end(Holborn) in a short Musical production of White Folks by Ray Shell, I have also performed at the Battersea Art Centre as Mark Anthony in a production of Julius Caeser. I briefly modelled for a magazine where I was an ancient greek as well as a History book(Same Role). I have presented a few t.v. shows such as the Southport Weekender in house T.V. Dishes and was involved in the good sex guide and MTV's Singled out.
The radio world was introduced to me by way of being invited for an interview on the BBC London Live when RAMPAGE used to host a show. I was then invited to do a 15 minute live mix on Steve Sutherland's Show on Galaxy FM where I did this with Garage sensation Daniel Beddingfield. I was invited on to KISS100 to do a couple of TONY MONTANA impressions for the Firin' Squad. I was asked to do this on many occassions for people.
At this time I was hovering on a few pirate stations such as MAC FM, ICE FM, DELIGHT FM, UNIQUE FM, FLASHBACK FM, SUPREME FM and also making regular appearances on Dr.Psycho's radio show on Club Asia. In Cyprus I have played on NAPA FM, HELIOS and MEGA RADIO with the big man Laki which have now merged and become ENERGY FM, I have been featured in the local newspaper - The Cyprus Weekly, as well as What's On tourist guide.
I am a hyperactive guy who doesn't drink or smoke apart from the occasional Habanos. If you have met me then you would know what an energetic guy I am - I've been told on many occassions that thigs come to life when I'm about, that's why I love entertaining soo much.
I am dedicated to the most amazing woman I have ever met-Lady Montana. Marriage is on the cards. She is the Love of my life.
I love fast bikes, boats, planes and cars, just ask someone who knows me, Im a fanatic - its because I have no fear.
So from all of that it's pretty obvious i love Speed, Music, Martial Arts and Lady Montana. Simple Really.
And not forgetting the greatest film ever made - SCARFACE.
